The Americana at Brand - Great indoor/outdoor shopping mall. -Greg
Glendale Blvd, Atwater Village - This street has a little bit of everything but isn’t overwhelming. It’s where I go when I need to find a cute gift for someone. -Lauren
Magnolia Blvd, Burbank - Greg and I frequent Magnolia Blvd more than all these other spots. We love to get a deli sandwich from Handy Market or Pinocchios, then shop around at The Holding Company, Atomic Records, and all the other surrounding vintage, ma & pop stores.

Barnsdall Art Park - Next to Los Feliz. Great view of the Hollywood sign.
Sherman Oaks Van Nuys Recreation Center - Take a look at the basketball court. That’s where Greg first dunked a basketball. Ask him or his brother Mike about it.
Tree People - We love this hike & area. Connects to popular Fryman Canyon hike. Also has picnic tables and is very shaded in most areas. Can’t recommend it enough.

What do I wear?

The pool party is very casual, pool, summer attire.
The wedding is cocktail attire. Ceremony & Reception are indoors, however Cocktail hour is outside in the shade.
Vintage 70s clothing is highly encouraged!
Parking?

Church parking lot is limited but free, and there’s plenty of street parking.
Smoke House parking is $10 valet, however there is also plenty of street parking.
How do you suggest I travel from the church to the Smoke House?

Since there is parking available at both, driving is easiest.
If you plan on drinking, we suggest taking an Uber/Lyft, or carpooling with a DD.
It’s about a 20 minute drive from the church to the Smoke House.
I have a food allergy…What can I eat at the reception?

The Smoke House is creating a beautiful buffet for our friends and family. There should be options for everyone, but reach out to us if you have specific allergies and we will make sure there’s a meal safe for you.
