Start with understanding your needs and what you value most.

  • Comfort- Comfort or style…why not both? When seeking for more shoe comfort there are a variety of options to make you look and feel your best. Shoe sole inserts, heel grips, and toe pads are all great additions for comfort. Breaking them in with a blow dryer can also help however, this method may not be suitable for all shoe types and fabrics. An elegant flat can be just as jaw dropping as a heel.

  • Mobility- An easily overlooked aspect is the venue location(s). Are you going to be walking on grass or rocks? Is there an incline on the property? Make sure to take the location into consideration when choosing your shoe style. You don't want to be sinking into the grass with a stiletto…. If your special day does have grass make sure you request that the water be turned off 48 hours in advance, so no one's heels are sinking. You may want to consider height when choosing the heel. Some partners may not feel comfortable being taller or shorter. No matter the height or terrain, we highly recommend a change of shoes for later on. You’ll thank us later.

  • Style- There are so many colors, fabrics, and shapes to choose from. You can add personal touches to a shoe or consult a designer for a completely customized look. You can bedazzle, paint, embroider, glue and more…. Your personal style can shine through your gown. Converse, crystal sneakers, flip flops, cowboy boots... as event planners, we've seen it all.
